This Comprehensive Privacy Notice is issued in compliance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP, Mexico's federal data protection statute), its Regulations, and the Privacy Notice Guidelines in force in the United Mexican States.

5. Internal processing and data transfers

Your personal data is processed internally by the firm and its lawyers for the purpose of handling your matter. We do not transfer your data to third parties outside the firm, except where legally required (for example, in response to requests from a competent authority under Article 37 of the LFPDPPP) or where we have your express consent. Where applicable, we may rely on service providers (for example, technology or storage providers) that act as data processors and handle the data solely on behalf of and under the instructions of the firm.

The processing of your data is based on your consent and on the need to comply with the legal relationship arising from the handling of your inquiry and the provision of our services, in accordance with Articles 6, 7, 8 and 36 of the LFPDPPP.

As the data owner, you have the right to Access your personal data, Rectify it when it is inaccurate, Cancel it when you consider it is no longer required, and Object to its processing (ARCO rights, the data-owner rights granted under Mexican law). You may also revoke the consent you have given.

To exercise any of these rights, send a request to contacto@letrados.mx stating your name, a means to receive our response, a copy of an identification document proving your identity, and a clear description of the data and the right you wish to exercise. We will respond within the timeframes established by the LFPDPPP.

8. Use of cookies and tracking technologies

Our site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure site usage and improve your experience. You can disable cookies from your browser settings, although some features may be affected.

In addition to the ARCO rights, you may request that your data be included in our internal exclusion list to limit its use or disclosure for marketing purposes by writing to contacto@letrados.mx.

This notice may be amended at any time to address legislative, internal or service-related changes. Updates will be available on this same page, indicating the date of last update. We recommend that you review it periodically.
